REIA NYC Financial Literacy Project

Generational Wealth Zone (dba REIA NYC) is an independent social enterprise company that provides personal financial education and real estate investor resources to people and organizations with a passion to improve the financial capabilities of citizens in their communities.

REIA NYC, through the efforts of our founder & Counsel, Dr. Teresa R. Martin, Esq. recently partnered with National Financial Educators Counsel (NFEC) to develop private labeled Financial Literacy curriculum. This curriculum teaches money-management skills – budgeting, managing debt, investing, retirement planning, and much more. Our financial literacy coursework and our mission to obliterate financial literacy are collectively known as the REIA NYC Financial Literacy Project.

Every year REIA NYC closes its operations for one day each month to help make a positive difference in our local communities. It is our mission to continue with our enhancement projects in the areas where our teams live, work, and play. 

Community Initiatives

Dress for Success helps low-income women make tailored transitions into the workforce by providing interview suits, confidence boosts, career development mentorship program, job search preparation, mock interviews, and personal shopping.

Career Gear provides business clothing, much-needed job retention and advancement coaching to low-income men looking to transition into the workforce.

Helping Hands helping to refurbish public school buildings in New York City. Volunteers primarily assist with painting work.

Financial Education Workshops provides workshops for people of all ages—from kids to adults.  These workshops cover a large range of topics, from basic financial foundation knowledge to more advanced retirement planning.

Habitat for Humanity Women Build brings the women of New York City together to build homes for low-income families. Spearheaded by leaders in real estate, finance, media, technology, fashion, entertainment and philanthropy, teams will campaign together to raise awareness and funds for the housing crisis affecting millions of women
